Christmas Party with the Brad Thompson Trio (Dripping Springs, TX)

I took the trio (Justin Pate, Chris Raspante, and me) on a little road trip down to Dripping Springs, TX this weekend. We played a Christmas party for some fine folks who actually have a stage built in their backyard!

The catering by Gourmet Gals Catering & Events was excellent (they’ve been in business in Dripping Springs since ‘76!) and Suzanne and her husband at Drink To Remember were fabulous (they took the band photos for us)

I stayed the night at 13 Acres Tribe, near Hamilton Pool. This place is wild. As Hill Country as you could possibly get. We’re talking community outdoor showers, meditation areas, scenic views and a magic forest!
